Customer Review - Liam Monk, Driving Lessons Yaxley - Peterborough

"I Would highly recommend Mark to anyone who wants to learn to drive efficiently and effectively. Every lesson I was at the wheel and all of Marks instructions were informative and relevant - which led me to passing my test first time around :-)

Cheers Mark!"

Liam had his driving lessons in Yaxley Peterborough, following a recommendation from his sister who also took her lessons with us 2 years ago.  Roxanne passed her test at the first attempt and Liam didn't disappoint passing his test first time on the 5th September 2014, quite the family double!!
Liam's lessons were done in a structured way and he was consistent with those lessons most weeks which really helped him to achieve the success that he did.  It was a pleasure to teach him, especially having taught his sister earlier.
I wish you all the best Liam with your last year at Stanground College and hope that your exams results next year will be as good as your practical driving test pass and that you get the grades required to get yourself into university.

Well done Liam, it was an excellent drive and a well deserved pass.  Good luck with sorting your insurance out or perhaps persuading your parents to buy a new car so you can have your mum's!!

Either way, I'll see you around on the road very soon I'm sure.  Hope the rest of your A-levels go well and that you get yourself a place at university next year.

Practical driving test success for Greg Rowland

Congratulations to Greg Rowland from Yaxley in Peterborough who on Tuesday 26th August 2014 successfully passed his practical driving test at the 1st attempt.

Greg Rowland, Yaxley Peterborough 26/08/2014

Greg's driving lessons started in February 2014 and he was consistent with a driving lesson most weeks.  His progress was encouraging throughout and the standard improved each week.  When Greg, took his test, he was ready and I knew he was ready.  The preparation and training had been good and it was really a case of how many driver faults would he get rather than whether he would pass or not.

As it turned out it was an easy pass with just a couple of very minor driver faults.

Greg said that he "would recommend Mark to anyone looking to start driving lessons" and that "he was an excellent instructor who was easy to get on with".

Congratulation again Greg on some great driving lessons and a fantastic first time pass.  Best wishes for the future and your new adventures at university - I'm sure you will have a fantastic time.

Helping learner drivers to save on their insurance premiums

As well as taking practical driving lessons with an approved driving instructor it is both recommended and beneficial if you can also practice outside of lessons with a supervising driver.  One of the barriers to this is quite often the cost of the insurance or the supervising person not wanting to affect their policy by adding a learner driver to it.
Many companies now offer policies that will cover the learner and not the car, and many are now offering discounted premiums when you buy through an approved driving instructor as this further reduces the risk to the insurer as they know you are taking driving lessons with an approved driving instructor.
In order to help all our pupils (and any others) we've teamed up and registered ourselves with 4 such companies that will hopefully make insurance affordable and improve your learning potential.
